Luis Guzmán parents-Luis Guzmán is a famous Puerto Rican actor who was born on August 28th, 1956 in Cayey, Puer to Rico.

Guzmán received his degree from The American University, started working as a social worker soon after, and finally got very interested in street theater and indie movies.

Guzmán attended the Seward Park Educational Campus. He also attended the City College of New York before he earned his degree at the American University. Guzmán has a net worth of about $13 million.

Guzmán is a pundit on VH1’s I Love the ’80s, I Love Toys, and its sequels, including I Love the ’70s and I Love the ’90s. He also acted in the brief-lived 2003 television comedy Luis. He co-starred in the first season of the 2007 HBO show John from Cincinnati.

Guzmán appeared in “Naturally Aged Cheddar Hunks” TV commercials for Cabot Creamery at the beginning of 2008. In 2010, he starred in HBO’s How to Make It in America and made an appearance in a humorous series of Snickers commercials that aired during that year’s Super Bowl. He also made an appearance in the music video “Yes We Can.”

In the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Guzmán supported Senator Bernie Sanders. In an episode of Jon Taffer’s Bar Rescue from season six that aired in 2018,

Guzmán and New York Yankees great Bernie Williams helped the El Krajo Tavern in Loiza, which had been badly damaged by Hurricane Maria, as well as the town’s community center.

When asked about his views on the situation in Puerto Rico during Telegramgate, Guzmán stated that “Ricky had to go” and that corruption on the island was a serious problem that he hoped would be resolved.

Guzmán was born to Ross Cardona. However, he was not raised by his biological father but his stepfather after his mother divorced and remarried, Benjamin Cardona.

The two raised Guzmán in the Lower East Side and Greenwich Village areas of New York City.
